Heartlands Teacher is currently staffed by two full time degreed staff and uses the support of other part time staff as needed to cover the student base and assist subject coverage.  We have ideas to expand both our services and staffing levels but our belief will remain to always provide quality rather than quantity as part of our service to the public.

General Manager

Robert F Jarvis BS, MBA

Born, London England 1943. Early career; medical laboratory technologist. Followed 17 years in the military working as a scientist and manager in the medical device industry which included lots of global travel and the chance to work with different societies.

Early retirement in 2001 led to the question; “What can I give back
to society”? After a rocky start as a substitute teacher he trained to become a professional teacher and took up full time teaching at a local  school.

BS and Fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences (UK). He earned a MBA at Nova Southeastern University and currently holds Florida professional teaching certificates for biology, math, computer science and business studies. He has many years of practical experience with computer hardware and software and as a radio ham (W4JPA) worked with local officials during several recent hurricanes to provide emergency communications support to local communities. When asked to sum it all he would say;  “I’m a teacher”
